My heart... belongs to you!

Hi there!

I love this time of the year on the cardmaking calender! Of all the shapes in the world, the ♥ is my favorite !

So here's my card(s) for today!

up close:

... and another:

a closer look:

Amazing how dressing up the same image differently can give total different effects!

This beautiful heart was a free download Bev from Uniko studio studio offered in the Simply cards & Papercraft magazine HERE. I love it and used it once before for THIS card.

I added a sentiment from miss Kate Cuttables (printed).

Design work done in the Silhouette studio. For both cards I used the print and cut function. For the first card I traced the image to get cutting lines, added a small offset before cutting it out with my cameo.
I also printed the stamp on the card base for added interest.

Coloring done with Promarkers.

Ok, so with the first card I am adding my link to the following challenges:

Muse card club  : Caseing Tracey's card, inspired by:

  • Heart image
  • Pink
  • Layout
Uniko studio :  Anything goes, with the optional twist of LOVE.

CAS on Sunday : Hearts.

Second card:

Addicted to Stamps :  inspiration photo.

                                             For your blog

Thanks for looking!

Have a great day!

Hannelie

Lieflik!!!!!

Both are gorgeous - love the rainbow, but the fussy cutting makes the first one really stand out! LOL! So glad you joined us at Muse this week, Hannelie!

Two stunning cards Hannelie ! I was sure before reading further that the design was from bev ! It is so much her style ! You beautifully showcased this gorgeous wreath of flowers ! It's incredible how a same stamp can look different only with different colours and different dressing up ! I especially love the one with vibrant colours, I need that during this cold period ! Thanks for sharing and for inspiring !

Such a pretty heart digi. Both cards so perky and clean and beautifully designed, and they look great against the black background.

Two beautiful cards, Hannelie! I love how you added dimension on the first one, and the bold colors you chose for the 2nd card...I also love the font on your sentiment, too!

They're both very pretty! That heart wreath is so delicate and looks even more so when you color it sparingly with pastels.

Wow...ramping up the colors sure does make a difference...from soft & subtle to bold and beautiful! Another fabulous free image! I'm thinking I need to take you shopping with me cuz you find the sweetest free things! Printing the design on the base does create lovely dimension without adding another layer.

Love your floral hearts Hannelie, great use of Bev's freebie I'd forgotten about them. I down loaded them then completely forgot about it!
So pleased you linked up at ATSM. :)

Both cards are stunning. I really like how different they look in the different colours. The cut heart is wonderful (you've inspired me to have a go with my cameo). Great work. Thanks so much for playing along with Uniko this month! Deborah, DT.

I just love your style, Hannelie! All your cards are not just clever but so beautiful. And these cards are no exception!
I have I quick question, what would resources would you recommend to learn about Silhouette studio? I tried several times to CASE your cards but I was never able to do so since I don't really know the software. Thank you so much!

Two gorgeous cards Hannelie! It's amazing that it's the same image as they look so totally different. Love the soft colours of your die-cut and poppued up heart shaped wreath. And the bright and vibrant colours version is so fun! xx

LOVE how you have used this digital stamp Hannelie and the two colour combinations are both equally stunning. So fun that you can use the Silhouette Studio print and cut function and I am now seriously regretting selling my Silhouette, though I'm not 100% sure on the version I had and if this was even possible! Thank you so much for joining in on the Uniko Challenge and apologies for my lateness in commenting. Hugs Bev x
