Geometric x9

Hi there!

The sketch at Cas-ual fridays seemed like the perfect layout for the idea I had in mind using geometric shapes for the challenge this week at Less is more.

Thanks to both teams for wonderful inspiration!

Another card made easy by my Silhouette!

I very seldom make square cards, but I think it works well for my design today :)

I have used this concept so many times before. If you want to take a look, here & here & here

A last view that shows off the 'cube' or 3D effect of the popped up color chevrons.

Thanks for looking!

Have a great day!

Sending lots of love

Hi there!

I haven't been able to join the Inspired by all the little things challenge for some time, but I didn't want to see another beautiful inspiration photo come... and go... and not play along!

I guess I also had tulips on my mind, after my husband sent me this beautiful photo of tulips. He took it yesterday on a business trip in Oslo.

Don't you think it's beautiful!?

My card:

Altenew brush art florals

I used 2 sets from Altenew:

I also used my new Altenew inks for the first time. I bought the Crisp dye ink mini cube set last week and couldn't wait to try them out. Thanks Ardyth  for your expert advice... I'm loving it!

Beautiful day in pink

Hi there!

I have used the Beautiful day set by Altenew so many times before, but today is the first time I water colored it. I was a bit nervous when I started 😨 , but I soon realized that the less you think about doing it "right" , and the more you relax and enjoy the process, the more successful you become!

By this I am not implying that this is totally successful 😉, but I am satisfied... I really like the end result!

Another first for me, is a little experimenting with photo props ! I've been wanting to try it out for so long... Still getting a feel for it but here goes...

I stamped the large flower from the set with Versafine black ink and my misti. I masked the image I stamped first, and stamped 2 more flowers . Repeated it in the bottom corner, stamped the sentiment , and colored the stamped images with my Zigs.

My card was inspired by a couple of challenges:

Altenew Inspiration challenge

Addicted to CAS ~ Pink

The flower challenge ~ Case the designer : Caseing TaeEun's beautiful card.

CAS water color challenge ~ Flowers

Guest designing at Uniko!

Hi there!

I am so excited to join Bev and her wonderful team at Uniko studio as guest designer for challenge #41!

This month's challenge is to make a masculine card with the optional twist of a Fathers' day card.

I made a Father's day card to invite and inspire you to play along!

A closer look:

I used my Silhouette cameo to cut out the digital image of the shirt. I added the pattern by stamping one of the layers of Beautiful blooms set by Uniko in Sailboat blue (Ranger Adirondack Ink).

The sentiment is my own, also designed in the Silhouette Studio.

You are welcome to download it for personal use :)

CAS(e) this sketch #222

Hi there!

So exited to share my card for CAS(e) this sketch today, because the sketch is based on THIS CARD I made some time ago :)

For today's card I picked flowers for my focal point, and achieved a totally different look and feel!

 A closer look:

This Bamboo rose set from Altenew has become my favorite flower to watercolor. It just look good every time!
I used Versafine Onyx black for the stamping, and colored the flowers with my Zig markers.

I used one of the stem images to stamp the "striped" panel on the left and "Just for You" from the Label-love set.

My card was inspired by the May Inspiration photo @ Altenew May inspiration challenge.

CASology : WARM

Hi there !

The weather is getting warmer and we are using the warmer temperature as design inspiration at CASology this week.

I have told you before that I love hearts... in any shape! So here's another heart inspired design:

A closer look:

I used a scribbled heart cutting file from the Silhouette store Design ID #174658.

It was cut in 3 warm colors of card stock, resizing it with 10% for each layer.

I also designed the sentiment in the Silhouette studio, and as always you are welcome to download it for your personal use:
